Bill grew up on the Big Island of Hawaii fishing and boating with his dad who was a commercial fisherman. His first job was aboard a sailing catamaran called the Fairwinds at the age of 13. Since then he has crewed and operated many different vessels until finally getting his Coast Guard approved Masters 100 ton license after completing his studies from Columbia Pacific Maritime in Portland, Oregon. He also crewed and worked as a helicopter mechanic on the 250 foot MV Janeen in the South Pacific.
Captain Bill's services include being available for hire as a captain and offers boating adventures on Sail or power boats in the Pacific Northwest during the summers, an fishing and site seeing trips out San Diego during the winter. Home office is in Corvallis, Oregon.
The summer trips are usually 1 to 2 weeks in the San Juan Islands, Canadian Gulf Islands, and up the Canadian Sunshine Coast to Desolation Sound. The captain is also available for adventure camps and church groups. One such trip offered is called the CS Island Church Hop where Christian Scientists and others come together for study and adventure while visiting remote churches on the islands of the Pacific Northwest. Some camp adventures that he has participated in are Camp Bow-isle in British Columbia, and Discovery Bound's NLC.

Bill is a class taught Christian Scientist and loves to share his passion of boating and his love for Christian Science with others. He is married to Marsha Pecaut, CS his first mate and ship's Practitioner. She shares his interest in this fun loving activity while maintaining her professionalism as a Journal listed Christian Science Practitioner.
Daily rate starting at $150 plus expenses.
